Keep Portland Weird

Love Portland. I really do. However, I found that I was spending too much time reading blogs and keeping up to date with the happenings of Humboldt Co. I was neglectful of all the wonderful events that go on in THIS great city. Portland has the reputation of being a little off-beat, and we like it that way.

24 hour Church of Elvis- check

Saturday Market- check

And now adding to the list: Miss White Trash Pageant

I was so disappointed that I had missed it, because who, in their right mind, doesn't want to win a 1973 GMC, meat products, a tattoo of a naked lady and a check for $29.99?

Next year I'm bustin' out the Daisy Dukes, bleaching my hair out and crushing a can of beer with my forehead.

Now that's a quality woman!

Now...will the can be full, or an "empty"?

You better invite me to come cheer you on.

Remember though...sadly the 24-hour Church of Elvis has closed its doors. Sniff.

But what about Voodoo Donuts! Who doesn't love a donut with Nyquil glaze?!

How could I forget that? AND their pepto donut too!!

Boy- You know of course that I am a half empty kind of girl so "empty" would be appropriate.
